“She is my superhero.” ❤️

This beautiful story was shared with Women in Stone by Tanya Thalati of Ruggeri Marble and Granite to celebrate her mother, Lakhmi.

After a life-changing accident left her husband fighting for survival, Lakhmi became the strength that held her family together. While raising two young children and caring for her husband, she faced every challenge with resilience, courage, and unwavering love.

Tanya shares that she learned strength, confidence, compassion, and resilience simply by watching her mother navigate life’s toughest moments with grace. Today, Lakhmi is still the first person her family calls in times of joy or hardship, the one who always shows up, no matter the hour.

What a beautiful story and reminder that mothers are often the quiet heroes behind every family’s strength. 💐

Thank you, Tanya, for sharing your story with us.
