And just like that we already blew past the 33% (and quickly approaching 50%) sold mark on concert tickets for The Cybertronic Spree happening September 12th in Oaks, PA! Once we reach max capacity for the venue, we'll be pulling the pay links. You probably have a couple weeks before sell-out, but we would not sleep on these too long!

It is the year 2026... but let's pretend it's 1986.

Join us on Saturday, September 12th as The Cybertronic Spree returns to Oaks, PA for a very special concert celebrating the 40th Anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie!

For one night only, the soundtrack of 1986 comes roaring back to life with the galaxy's favorite Cybertronian rock band. Whether you grew up rewinding your VHS copy until it wore out, can recite every line from memory, or still get a lump in your throat when "The Touch" kicks in, this is the closest thing to opening the Matrix of Leadership you're ever going to get!

The show takes place at Arnold's Family Fun Center in Oaks, PA (Water Tower Live section)! Concert start time is 8:00 PM, and runs approximately 75 minutes. Though history has shown that sufficient quantities of Energon and audience enthusiasm can extend the lifespan of these rockstars in disguise...

And yes! Time permitting, the band will stick around after the show for photos and meet-and-greets. It's your chance to meet the fan-favorite performers who have become one of the signature attractions of Retro Con weekends.

This is an official Retro Con 2026 (Official) after-party event, but you do NOT need to attend Retro Con to buy concert tickets. This is a separately ticketed event.

After an agonizing year stranded on the other side of the Space Bridge, the galaxy's favorite Transformers-inspired rock band is returning to Pennsylvania as part of their "Programmable Read-Only Memories" Tour! Please welcome back for Retro Con 2026 (Official)... The Cybertronic Spree!!

Join Hotrod, Arcee, Rumble, Unicron, Soundwave, Bumblebee, Shockwave, and all 5 faces of the Quintesson for a much-needed rock therapy session celebrating the 40th Anniversary of Transformers: The Movie! The classic 1986 animated film that emotionally devastated an entire generation of kids, but also gave us some truly stunning animation, a hard-pumping soundtrack, and a story beyond good, beyond evil, beyond your wildest imagination!

And these rockstars in disguise aren't just limited to songs about giant transforming robots! The Spree blasts out an energon-powered mix of movie and tv show themes, video game music, classic rock anthems, and even their own original songs. It's like opening the Matrix and unleashing a tidal wave of pop culture awesomeness! To paraphrase Ultra Magnus: We can't deal with that now!!

The Spree will be appearing at Retro Con early on Saturday as special guests, where fans can meet them, snap photos, collect autographs, and pick up band merch before they roll out for the evening festivities. Tentative meet-and-greet hours will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Then when the convention floor closes, the real transformation begins! The Cybertronic Spree will perform a live concert at Water Tower Live inside Arnold's Family Fun Center right next door to the convention! Concert start time will be 8pm. Long before dressing up in costume became in vogue at conventions, the graphic T-shirt was the original geek uniform! Fans wear them proudly to represent their fandoms, manias, and personalities without saying a word. At Retro Con, we celebrate this sacred tradition the only way we know how… by turning it into a contest with awesome prizes!

Join us Saturday in the panel room and show off your retro finest! Whether your T-shirt celebrates cartoons, toys, video games, superheroes, wrestling, sci-fi, horror, mascots, or that forgotten tv show that only aired for eight episodes in 1984… we want to see it! Vintage shirts? Definitely. New but retro-inspired shirts? Absolutely. Custom-made shirts? Bring ‘em. That shirt your family begs you not to wear in public anymore? That’s probably finalist material.

Entry Rules (please study carefully):

1- Wear a retro T-shirt (90's properties and earlier)
2- Show up before the contest starts (TDB soon)
3- Pose like you’re in a vintage Sears Wishbook!

Prizes this year include a GI Joe Classified Pythona figure for 3rd Place, a Monster High Xenomorph doll for 2nd Place (don't laugh, this doll currently sells for $200 online!), and a Mondo Toys Real Ghostbusters Egon Spengler and Boogieman set for 1st Place! All prizes are new and unopened.

Returning once again to preside over the fashionable chaos is our good friend Mike Breaux from The Breaux Show! So dig through those closets, raid the attic, or uproot your dresser drawers. The greatest T-shirt you own has been training its entire life for this moment...

Soundwave may not be at Retro Con this year (though you'll no-doubt find his toy in the vendor hall!), but we have do two cast members from the beloved Disney musical "The Sound of Music" coming to Retro Con 2026 (Official)! Angela Cartwright and Nicholas Hammond, aka Brigitta von Trapp and Friedrich von Trapp!

So whether your favorite music comes from the hills of Austria or from the cassette deck of a Decepticon, Retro Con 2026 has you covered!

An update because tickets are selling fast! Bill Mumy will be hosting a special Retro Concert in conjunction with Retro Con 2026 (Official)! It will be held in our panel room on Saturday evening after Retro Con proper has ended for the day.

Bill will be attending Retro Con all weekend meeting fans, but this special event offers something unique: Just Bill, a microphone, and a guitar, performing songs from his catalog for an intimate group of fans from around the world. Will he play Fish Heads live?? We're going to put in the request!

The Brady Bunch remains one of the ultimate "comfort food" tv shows, a series that never really disappeared and continues bringing in new fans decade after decade. Whether you grew up watching the original broadcasts, after-school reruns, Nick at Nite marathons, videotapes, DVDs, streaming binges, or weekend blocks on MeTV, the Brady magic just keeps on going.

Barry Williams became a pop culture icon as Greg Brady! The cool older brother with the peerless smile, shaggy hair, electric guitar, self-confidence, and penchant for finding trouble. Greg gave us countless unforgettable moments, like the infamous “Greg's smoking” episode, stealing the Coolidge High goat mascot Raquel, taking on the role of teen idol Johnny Bravo, accidentally turning his hair bright orange before graduation, and of course surviving the legendary Hawaii vacation three-parter with the taboo tiki idol that brought the Brady family a brush with supernatural doom. *cue ominous tiki music*

Barry returned to the Brady universe throughout the years in projects like The Brady Kids cartoon, Brady Bunch Variety Hour, The Brady Girls Get Married, A Very Brady Christmas, The Bradys follow-up series, and HGTV's A Very Brady Renovation. He even made a memorable cameo in the 1995 Brady Bunch Movie as a skeptical music producer that rejects Greg’s corny song pitches about clowns and beanstalks... Today, Barry keeps Brady nostalgia alive with 'The Real Brady Bros' podcast alongside fellow Brady brother Christopher Knight, revisiting classic episodes and behind-the-scenes stories from one of TV’s most iconic families!

So grab your bell-bottoms, practice your “Sunshine Day” harmonies, and prepare for an outta sight weekend!
