Ready to race! Guy’s racing Club Neshaminy Classic Mountain bike Race.

I’d like to thank everybody that came out this past Saturday to help out with our new Independence Youth Cycling presented by Guy’s Racing Club Cyclocross team. We had an excellent turnout of athletes and coaches with Kelly Cline, Melissa Caruso, and other volunteers helping the athletes who for many of them it was their first time practicing cyclocross. The athletes learned a ton and progressed quickly. Those that borrowed some of our CX specific bikes loved them.
If any folks have friends or family interested in the team for under 23 athletes and they were not able to make it out, please let us know as quickly as possible. We are in the process of firming up the roster and planning a second skills clinic this summer in preparation for the season. If anyone has a cyclocross bike gathering dust and are willing to donate it to the team, our partner, Independence Youth Cycling, is a 503-C organization and we will gladly accept it. Thanks again to all of the volunteers who helped prepare or came out. There really is a lot of work behind the scenes for even the smallest of things so thank you to everyone.
IYCCX p/b GRC is up and we expect our athletes to love cross as much as we do.
