East Bay Regional Park District Presents: Hootin' Habitats
Wednesday, June 24 | 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Did you know that owls protect our homes and our food? Dissect owl pellets and discover how these wonderful birds provide pest control through their hunting habitats. Attendees will also find out that we can help owls by protecting safe spaces like Big Break that they need to live and grow. πΏ
This program is intended for ages 8 and up, though all ages and abilities are welcome.

We're looking for teen volunteers to help with our Summer Reading Party in July! πππ±π
Date: Saturday July 11, 2026
Volunteer shift: 10 am - 12:30 pm (Light refreshments will be provided.)
Volunteers will help set up/clean up, greet patrons, pass out scavanger hunt prizes, run game stations, and assist with arts and crafts.
If you are interested, please pick up an application from the front desk or complete the online interest form with a note mentioning wanting to help with the event.
We'd love to have you join us!

Storytime with AAC
Concord Library

Build your child's communication skills through shared reading! Storytime with AAC aims to support families/caregivers of emergent communicators by demonstrating language using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems, helping children develop a love of reading and building language through shared interaction and connection.
This event is intended for those who are learning to communicate using AAC systems. All ages and abilities are welcome.
There is currently no internet or printing available at the Oakley Library. Weβll update when our services are restored.
