Bay Area friends! We are super excited to kick off our Artist Residency at the iconic Fairmont San Francisco this Saturday with a special Pride month celebration!

Fairmont San Francisco is proud to announce an extraordinary new “Artist in Residence” partnership with internationally acclaimed vertical dance company, ✨ This innovative collaboration will bring an awe inspiring public art showing to the iconic Nob Hill landmark, blending vertical choreography with state-of-the-art climbing technology in a breathtaking celebration of movement, spirit, and community.

The inaugural public performances will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 4:00 pm, transforming the hotel’s historic façade into a stage in the sky. This open showing of vertical dance—free to both guests and the community—will be Pride-themed in honor of San Francisco’s vibrant LGBTQ+ celebrations and is part of Fairmont’s ongoing commitment to creating unforgettable, inclusive experiences that elevate the local arts and culture scene.

We are super excited to host a special screening of Giants Rising, an award-winning documentary uncovering the hidden world of the redwoods—Earth’s tallest and oldest living beings.

A live conversation with Director Lisa Landers and BANDALOOP Artistic Director and choreographer of Redwood Musical Melecio Estrella will follow, exploring how forests connect and sustain us.
