All Kit wanted for her birthday was a hard row on a beautiful morning with her novice team, and that’s exactly what she got🌹💖

We make the trip around the island of Alameda once every five years, and it takes us five years to forget the reason why we do this once every five years. Adventures were had!🌊🌊🌊

Learn to Row Summer Camp is our biggest and best summer camp yet for middle schoolers and high schoolers.

In this flexible camp, your kid will learn to row alongside other teens, all while having fun and enjoying the beauty of Oakland Estuary in a safe, supportive, and coach-led environment.

Secure one of our Early Bird spots through the link in our bio before they’re gone.

We promise your kid will love it 🚣‍♂️☀️

Behind every great regatta is an even greater crew. 💙
Boats Without Barriers doesn't happen without the people who show up before dawn and stay until the last boat is off the water. Swipe through to meet some of the magic makers from April 19.
Our registration volunteers kept athletes informed and smiling from the moment they arrived. Our on-water crew, coaches and volunteers alike, ran a tight ship despite an uninvited guest (yes, that barge was very real, very large, and absolutely unbothered). Special love to Micah Boyd for stepping in to support our drone team AND run safety launch, above and beyond doesn't begin to cover it.
Our photo and video team captured every stroke, every laugh, and yes — the barge — from the dock, the water, and the sky.
And our junior rowers and their families? They showed up and threw down the best bake sale in BWB history. 🍪 We've been talking about it all week!
This event is built on talent, heart, and people who genuinely love this sport and this community. We are so grateful for every single one of you.
