Today’s product of the week is Siete’s Almond Flour Tortillas. They’re a great gluten free alternative to flour tortillas and have a nice crunch when you heat it up in a pan - one of Chef Leevan’s favorites!

AAPI month is finally here!! To celebrate this month, we’re highlighting dishes that embody what it means to be Asian American: Mac n’ Kimcheese and Orange Chicken!
These dishes were created by chefs that adapted to American tastes, while trying to preserve classic Asian flavors. We hope to see you at one of these classes to teach you more about food from the Asian American diaspora and the importance of AAPI month!

Happy Monday VT community - today we’re highlighting a fundamental Korean sauce, gochujang (고추장) aka fermented red pepper paste!
Often times, people think that kimchi is made with gochujang, however most of the time the fiery red color comes from gochugaru (Korean chili flakes). Get creative with this paste - think of it as another hot sauce option to add to dishes to spice things up!

Happy Friday Jr. VT community! Don’t forget, our (virtual) okonomiyaki class is available for booking. Fun fact: okonomi means "how you like" or "what you like", and yaki, means "grilled.”
This dish represents Japanese soul food, with ingredients and toppings that vary by region. Book a class with us to learn more about this savory pancake!
