Finished our Inaugural Metalsmithing Class at the Oak Ridge Art Center. I love these ladies so much! We've created beautiful friendships.
Jean Barrs Brantley is hands down the best teacher I've ever had. She is encouraging, patient, respectful, very knowledgeable and kind.
This has been life changing for me. The teachers are amazing I encourage anyone that is interested in any type of art medium to call the Oak Ridge Art Center and sign up. The more that show interest, the more classes they can create. Just do it!
This girl has totally captured my heart. She wants to be friends with everyone. ❤️🐾

This week's metalsmithing class was so fun. We soldered embellishments. I'm making earrings. Sooo much fun!

Every Thursday I find myself waking up a couple hours early and anxiously counting the minutes until class starts.
I have never considered myself creative with the exception of writing. My incredibly talented instructor, Jean Barrs Brantley, has helped me learn and perfect my techniques in metalsmithing.
I urge you to challenge yourself, as I have, and explore opportunities beyond your comfort zone. Consider visiting the Oak Ridge Art Center or similar local institutions that offer diverse classes to discover your hidden talents.
