As a former Captain in the U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps and a registered nurse, Annette understands the bedside realities that healthcare providers face daily. At Daxor, she will lead our commercial scaling, helping clinicians across all healthcare settings dismantle clinical inertia and adopt Blood Volume Analysis ( ) as the standard of care for precision fluid management.

Her unique ability to translate complex diagnostic data into actionable care pathways will be a tremendous asset to our partners and the patients we serve.

Daxor’s Senior VP of Marketing and Commercial Development, Kathryn Kornafel, attended the 2026 Duke Health University Heart Failure Symposium this weekend, where leading experts shared the latest developments in therapies and patient management.

Dr. Marat Fudim’s presentation, "Remote Monitoring in Heart Failure" highlighted a case report published in ESC Heart Failure examining the relationship between volume ( ) and pressure.

A key takeaway is that pressure-based assessments of congestion in ambulatory heart failure patients do not always accurately reflect intravascular volume, reinforcing an important clinical distinction: pressure and volume are not the same.
