🔴 Tennessee drivers, this one’s important.

This was on the news this morning, and it’s something we get asked about almost every single day.

“Can I renew my tags if my insurance has lapsed?”

The short answer: maybe not.

🔴 Tennessee continues to increase enforcement between vehicle registrations and insurance verification.

🔴 If your insurance lapses, it can create problems when it’s time to renew your registration.

🔴 If you’ve changed vehicles, switched insurance companies, or have a vehicle sitting in the driveway that isn’t insured, make sure everything is squared away before renewal time.

The good news? Most of these issues are easy to fix before they become a trip to the County Clerk’s office that ends with frustration.

If you’re not sure whether your vehicles are properly covered, give us a call. We’d much rather answer a quick question now than help untangle a mess later.

🔴 This is one of those things that’s a lot easier to prevent than fix.
