During World War II, it had grocery stores, restaurants, a pharmacy, a theater, a bowling alley, and even places open around the clock for the secret city’s booming population.

Today, that same square fills with fresh lavender bouquets, soaps, oils, lavender honey, handmade crafts, local art, food trucks, nearby restaurants, wine and cider tastings, garden tours, speakers, demos, and live music on two stages. The farmers market runs from 8 AM to noon, and the free kids area is open from 10 AM to 4 PM.
