Great Smoky Mountain Fiber Fair starts one week from today. Sign up for the weaving class I’m teaching. Hurry, I can only take 4 students.

18 yards of warp for 24 placemats. Pattern number 4 of six. 8.5 to go. Excited to see them all washed and hemmed.

Mountain Makins Festival and Fiber in the Boro were great shows this year. Looking forward to the Winter Market in Oak Ridge on Saturday mornings starting in December.

We are busy, busy, busy. Patty is Heading to Fiber in the Borough and Nancy is heading to Fort Loudon Historic Park's 18th Century Trade Fair this weekend Oct 21,22. Next weekend we are off to Morristown for the Mountain Makins Festival at the Rose Center. Come visit us at one of these fall events. The weather looks lovely for this weekend. Rose Center is indoors.

388 yards of super soft hand spun Merino yarn.

Weaving underway for Fall shows. Sock looper rugs, mop cotton rug and fabric strips are being cut for the next rug. 8 yards of warp to create with.

Life has been so busy recently Nancy and/or I just can't seem to get to the Farmer's Market. Lots of spinning and weaving going on at home as we get ready for some big events this fall. Let us know if you need something special. We will be spinning at the TN Valley Fair in the sheep Barn and the Folk Life exhibit at the Kerr building. I'll be cranking on my "New"1904 circular sock machine too. Too many fun things to do and make.

Saturday is the day. Look for us at the Oak Ridge Farmer's Market across from Jackson Square 8-12. If it is raining we will not be there.
