Today was full of hugs, high fives, laughter, and so much love as we celebrated the end of another amazing year at ORSP!
Some of our Preschool Pups are off to exciting new adventures in Kindergarten, while others will be back with us next year for another year of learning and fun.
No matter where next year takes them, each child is an important part of our school family, and we are so grateful to have shared this journey with them.

We had the sweetest surprise visitor at preschool today! ๐Ÿท๐Ÿ’—

Our amazing School Resource Officer, Officer Nikki, brought her mini pig, named Sherman, to visit ORSP and it absolutely made everyoneโ€™s day! From giggles and wide eyes to curious questions, this special visit was such a fun learning experience for our preschoolers. (And honestlyโ€ฆthe teachers were just as excited! ๐Ÿ˜‚)

Did you know mini pigs are highly intelligent animals? They can learn routines, recognize people, and even be trained to do tricks! Theyโ€™re also very social and love interaction, making them a wonderful way for children to learn about kindness, gentle touches, and caring for animals.

Thank you, Officer Nikki, for bringing a little extra joy, wonder, and oinks to our day! ๐Ÿฝโœจ

Our potato harvest project was truly a community effort, and we are so thankful for the support that helped make these hands-on learning experiences possible for our students! ๐Ÿฅ”๐Ÿ’š

A special thank you to the Anderson County Commissioners, led by Capshaw for Commissioner, for supporting opportunities that help our students grow, explore, and learn. Weโ€™d also like to extend our gratitude to Dr. Smallridge for his generous matching donation and continued support of our school community.

Because of community partners like these, our students are able to experience the joy of planting, growing, harvesting, and learning together. ๐ŸŒฑ
