If you're interested in adopting, please call the shelter, 865-425-3423, and we will send you an adoption application either via email or regular mail. Once your application has been approved, you will be called to schedule an appointment.

Animal Shelter Temporarily Closed to Public

Effective immediately, we are temporarily closing the Animal Shelter to the public to ensure the safety and health of our animals, employees, volunteers, and visitors. Animal Control will continue to respond to animal emergencies; however, adoptions and owner reclaims must be scheduled by calling (865) 425-3423. We will announce when we will reinstate services and reopen the shelter at a later time.
