I specialize in the repair, refinish and restoration of Older and antique furniture. As well as spe I love what I do and hope to do it for years to come.

I repair and refinish/restore antiques and gently used furniture, as well as the occasional "hopeless " piece.

Over the years, dogs have been a wonderful source of income in my repair side of the business…. Numerous customers have brought me chairs and tables that their neurotic dog has gnawed on in their absence. I usually reward the pup with a nice bone after I have done the repairs…. :). One more step in this restoration, to rub out the shellac finish and give it a good waxing…

After some good elbow grease on the brass parts and cleaning the glass. I was able to assemble the caswork, and it looks really nice. A few adjustments still need to make the door fit better… next step will be figuring out how to clean and oil the mechanics of the clock…never done that before…so many parts…so little time…

In final steps of restoring this oak chest of drawers that was my grandmothers when she was a child. Final steps is duplicating the escutcheons that are missing from the bottom drawers. I could not find an exact match so i made some and colored them up to match antique brass.. so far so good…
