Shoutout to Crafter’s Brew! 🍻💙

We are still buzzing from the incredible energy! We extend a massive thank you to the team at Crafter’s Brew for hosting The Arc Anderson County / Emory Valley Center and showing what it truly means to be a "community" hub.

Because of your generosity and the support of everyone who stopped by, we raised an impressive $912 for Autism Awareness and Acceptance!

Beyond the dollars raised, events like these are the heartbeat of our community. They provide:

A Space for Connection: Bringing neighbors together to learn, share stories, and build lasting friendships.

Visible Support: Showing local families that they are seen, heard, and celebrated.

Strength in Unity: Proving that when local businesses and residents team up, we can make a tangible impact.

To the Crafter's Brew Crew:
Thank you for opening your doors and your hearts. Small businesses are the backbone of our neighborhood, and your commitment to inclusion makes our community a better place for everyone.

Let’s keep this momentum going! Stop by Crafter’s Brew soon, grab a drink, and say thanks to a business that gives back. 🥂✨

Also, thank you to Justin Croft for being the “man on the ground” for this event.

Up to 60% of U.S. physicians report lacking the training and confidence to treat patients with IDD, and over 80% of graduating medical students have no training in caring for adults with IDD. Think about that for a minute. What if it’s YOUR family member with a disability that needs care? What then?

Please watch this. It’s so important that we all have an understanding of how important advocacy is - especially medical advocacy.
Thank you.
