I need to spend some time at home with the family before I head back out.
If anyone is headed out to the the East Tennessee/Western North Carolina areas that were hit by Helene and needs any contacts or roads to take let me know. We have been everywhere from Erwin to SPRUCE PINE.
Google maps is not updated for regular traffic. Anyone with heavy equipment or chainsaws that is headed to that area let me know and I will get you in contact with the areas that you can be used the most.

Equipment and labor request to help out a Vietnam Vet:
Anyone working in Mitchell County are of NC with heavy equipment or skid steer. The skid steer we had on site had to leave out.
Anyone able to help him out please get in contact with me.
Insurance isn't going to help him out with any of it.

Pro home owner tip:

Cleaning out your air conditioner condenser will help your the longevity of your HVAC system and help cool down your house a lot more efficiently. And it helps lower your energy bill!

You also want to make sure there are no obstructions above your unit. The condenser fan draws all the hot air out of your house and cools the air going in. Clearing any brush or other objects away from the top of the fan will allow proper drafting.

Below are pictures of a condenser unit that was covered by tree branches, had lots of grass and dirt collected on the cooling fins that obstructed the ability for the unit to work properly. The house would not get below 75 no matter how much the unit ran. After clearing the low branches, brush and cleaning the condenser unit out you could feel the unit pushing more out and the house cool down sustainably faster.

We offer cleaning services for condenser units and we can check the rest of the unit to see if there is any issues that might not be apparent at the time.
