Anime and Manga Drawing camp is incredible. These young artists are taking all they’ve learned the last two days and are sketching up a storm! Heads, eyes and hands aren’t so hard to draw anymore 👏
We had a great time with our dance class this past Friday! Thank you for teaching our students how to move with intention Baylin.
The National Museum of Mexican Art was also on our list of things to visit in Pilsen. On of our students gave us a mini art lesson on a well known painting ❤️
Perhaps one of my favorite Chicago neighborhoods - can’t get enough of Pilsen? I especially love the smiles we get from locals when our students are marching down the street.
We had a fun filled afternoon at the Art Institute today! We saw the Korean National Treasures, 2000 years of art exhibit and of course, Paradise Lost by Raqib Shaw. After seeing the Masters we made our way down to Ancient Egypt and textiles from Morocco, Syria, Palestine and Turkey. After returning the students made their own gowns based on designs they saw in the exhibit.
Tomorrow (Friday) is the last day to sign up for the three days after school ends. That's June 3, 4 and 5th.

Cartoon and Clay Camp, July 6-10 is one of our favorite camps. Kids design their own cartoons and make them come to life with clay. This is a great camp for those that love to draw and work with 3D modeling. Do you have a tween or teen that needs on the job experience or basic knowledge of what it means to be an employee? If so you may want to consider my Work Force Camp designed to help them understand the roles and responsibilities that come along with being employed. In addition to learning skills, they will end the course with experience to put on a resume, one that I'll help them create for future employers.
