World Championship 2026- the recap!💙⚙️

After a 20+ hour bus ride with Team 1259, RTR went on to compete in the Johnson Division alongside 75 of the best robots in the world. Between matches, we attended impactful seminars like Women in STEM, training/XRP robotics, and creativity under pressure.

We are really proud of our performance this week, finishing qualification matches ranked 2nd, and becoming captain of Alliance 2. We competed in playoffs alongside Teams , , and , and finished in fourth place for our division.

For a team that had never even made playoffs at Worlds before, captaining an alliance was a huge milestone. After elimination, we closed out the season watching Einstein finals and celebrating the reveal of next year’s game: FIRST Canopy: Biocore, dropping January 9, 2027.

RTR making history - World Championship day 3!
Today was our last day of qualification matches, and we finished with a record of 9 wins and 1 loss. This puts us at 2nd in ranking for alliance selection! This marks the first time we will be playing in the playoffs at worlds, and we couldn't be prouder of our team.
