Fishing slowed down a little bit last week but definitely picked up so far this week. After doing some searching with Nate Monday morning, I have two more days to get a game plan put together for Saturday morning.

If anyone is looking at getting into salmon tournament fishing, here’s one out of Milwaukee.
What are you doing Saturday?

I hope everyone had a great and safe Memorial Day weekend and remembered the reason for this holiday. Scouting has begun for my first tournament of the season and after two days of crossing miles of water off, I have a really good idea of what and where to go. My thoughts are you’ll need at least a 15lb average on lake trout along with three kings over 10lbs. I’m looking forward to getting the Whitewater Express II up on plane Saturday morning with a goal of 64lbs.
I’m just going to leave this one here…😂😂😂

Had a great morning with these two. After sitting 2-?? After the first two hours and my brain starting to smoke, we finally got to picking away at the cohos and ended with 6 rods going at once. I even got to reel 3 in. There’s still time to get out if you’re looking for a trip.

The wind is looking very favorable the next couple days and coho salmon fishing is about as good as it gets. If you want to get out trolling or casting give me a call or send me a message.

Fishing has been nothing short of spectacular the last couple of days. There’s a great number of browns and cohos mixed together. Jigging with 1/2oz have been the ticket with jigs and gulp coming in second. I spent Sunday morning trolling with John and his son despite the wind we picked away at the browns and got the first king of the season.

What a great weekend with two fun groups. First Saturday I had Norah and her boyfriend Bennett. After the first spot I checked was a bust, we made a small run and landed on a pile of cohos. It was a blast watching them come up and eat on livescope. Highlight was Norah stuck the biggest Pinook salmon I’ve seen weighing in at 8lbs. Yesterday thanks to the wind I was quite limited on where I could take Katelyn and her dad. But after running around they got a nice mixed bag of browns, a coho, rainbow and a 22lb carp!
