She specializes in corrective alignment, rehabilitation and sports performance. The Chicago Cubs have claimed her as their own , but they were generous enough to let us borrow her for the day :)

I invite you to take a moment to be still, to press pause for a moment, and check in with yourself. Find a comfortable seated position (this could be in your office chair!), and begin to lengthen your inhales and exhales. Slowly, with control. Fill your belly up with air, and gently let it go. After a few rounds of breath, just sit. Listen to your thoughts without judgement, as if you are listening to your best friend talk from across the table. Let the thoughts come and go as they wish. When you are ready, slowly invite gentle movement into your body. Rolling your shoulders forward and back. Bring movement into your cervical spine, dropping your chin down, then up, left then right. And then gracefully renter the space in which you came from. (Fancy way of saying, open your eyes 😉)
It might feel uncomfortable at first, but I promise, you’ll feed great at the end!!!

Do you travel? Do you find it hard to eat well while on the road? We too often hear that traveling is one of the greatest challenges while staying focused on goals and health commitments. This is our advice . PLAN AHEAD & SET YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS. Find a few products that you enjoy. Buy them ahead of time and travel with them. These products will refuel your mind and body, avoiding the traveler’s crash and desperate need for food, which is when we tend to grab something quick, convenient and loaded with chemicals (hello airport McDonald’s). Yes, this takes a little bit of planning and self discipline. But keep your eyes fixed on what you value. Honor your mind and body by fueling it with proper nutrition. In return you will receive better performance, increasing energy and a clear mind.

Getting your daily movement in is a choice, an intention, a commitment to your self. When you say YES to one thing, it often means you have to say NO to another. Look at your day, look at your week ahead of time. Where can you make space and time for yourself? How many appointments are dedicated to others? And how many time slots are dedicated to your wellbeing? It’s not always easy. But it’s always worth it.
