The Panthers improved to 2 - 0 on the season by defeating Mehlville 28 - 6 last Friday. The Panthers were led by quarterback - Brendan Pierce, who ran for two touchdowns and passed for another, an 18 yard strike to Justin Fitzpatrick. Tre Johnson also scored a rushing touchdown for the Panthers. The stingy Panther defense was paced by Luke Sammelman and Cade Brister.
The team returns to action this Friday (9/13) as they travel to Troy to take on the 2 - 0 Trojans. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm
