Carriel Softball 2024 started with a bang! 💥. 14-1 victory over the Highland Bulldogs.
We are very proud of each of these girls for showing up to practice each day, giving 100%, and committing to one another and the lessons we present them. There’s not much more any Coach could ask for from their players.

Carriel softball had a blast 💥 at CityFest!
The girls carried banners for various groups in the parade and worked the mini golf game ⛳️ from 6-10. In between shifts they enjoyed being kids… riding rides, talking with friends, eating funnel cakes, etc….. what it’s all about! So many memories made…. Happy coach this morning as I reflect. 🥰

PS. Shoutouts to our OTHS coaches for hanging with us! This group of girls devote their time and talents with grace and honor, and we are so very blessed to have them!

Congratulations to the Varsity Cougars for their 4th place finish in the Matt Seipp Tournament this week! The girls ALL contributed to this week’s success, and I am beyond proud of their achievements. It was a tough 16 team tourney, and this team battled from start to finish every single game.

Way to go, ladies!

The Cougars took the W after an exciting night of softball against a tough Redbud team. The girls advance to the semifinals tonight for the first time! 💥

Meet your 2023 Varsity Team!

The Varsity brought home two W’s last night! It wasn’t always pretty, but it sure was exciting. 😎

The girls had to dig deep and battle back to secure the victories after errors. That strength is vital to a successful season, and I am very proud of them for that!

Play continues Thursday night at 6:00pm against Redbud. 💪🏻

The Varsity team had a fantastic game tonight against New Athens! The girls came out on top, 11-3.
One of our goals tonight was to improve our energy, in warm ups and during the game. The girls crushed both! In addition, our bats were hot, and our defense was strong 💪🏻.

Today was softball perfection 🥹

Double wins for Cougar Softball!

JV defeated East St. Louis at home, while Varsity defeated Granite City on the road.
