Fun Fact Information Overload!

✨ Cleaning isn’t always about using the strongest product it’s about using the RIGHT one.

A few things we have learned over the years as a professional cleaners:

🧽 Water is sometimes one of the best cleaners. A microfiber cloth and warm water can remove more dirt than some harsh chemicals.

🧽 Stronger doesn’t always mean better. High-pH products can leave residue, damage surfaces, and even attract more dirt if they’re not used correctly.

🧽 Disinfectants work best on a clean surface. Dirt, grease, and soap scum can prevent them from doing their job. Clean first, disinfect second.

🧽 Not all messes are the same:
🍋 Acidic cleaners help remove hard water, rust, and mineral buildup.
🫧 Alkaline cleaners work best on grease, oils, and kitchen grime.
⚖️ Neutral cleaners are often the safest choice for routine maintenance.

🧽 Vinegar isn’t a miracle cleaner. It can damage natural stone, marble, some granite sealers, and certain wood finishes. (Like mopping with vinegar!!)

🧽 Bleach disinfects, but it doesn’t actually clean dirt. If a surface is dirty, you’re mostly disinfecting the dirt itself.

My favorite rule to remember:
🍋 Low pH = minerals, rust, hard water
⚖️ Neutral pH = maintenance cleaning
🫧 High pH = grease, oils, and kitchen grime

One of the biggest differences between professional cleaners and everyone else isn’t that we scrub harder, it’s that we understand which product works best for the mess we’re cleaning.

Knowledge is just as important as elbow grease.

Client: “The oven just needs a quick wipe down.”

Me: moves in and starts paying rent.

Well, here’s the secret:
