Story of Jakey. 2 years ago and 1 month Jake was mine. We didn’t meet like most dogs and owners do. Jake was chosen for me entrusted for me. See a week before my dad died he said, “you know if I die you have to take my dog”. I brushed it off and said well I don’t like dog hair so. His response l’ll leave you some money for a vaccum. We laughed about it, and I didnt really know Jake would be mine exactly a week later. Jake was with my dad when he passed licking his face, I find comfort in the fact he wasn’t alone, but with his best pal along his side. We have grown pretty fond of each other, and he heals me and I hope I heal him too. He deserves the best love in the world and that is my why.
Everything I said I do I did. If you told the girl in the first photo she wouldn’t give up on herself this time she would have bet against you. In fact I said this was going to be my last try. Well we are saving the best for last I guess. 3 years ago made a decision that saved my life, made me a better mom, better wife, better person. All because I chose to finally choose me and not put me on the back burner. You deserve to take care of you and be a tiny bit selfish in motherhood. Because when you show up as your best self, you show up as the best mother 😘.
Let’s go to Trader Joe’s and see if we can find the seasonal lemon pasta and Alfredo sauce that is my fav!! Bagggg secured and a fun little grocery haul! Hopefully you like these. What is a must have Trader Joe’s item on your list?
