Feelings are important! That doesnât mean they should run the show nor should we ignore them. Instead letâs try to find the balancing space in between, where we acknowledge and hold space for them, while continuing to take actions that align with our values đ
whew, that can be easier said than done, and itâs worth it to keep trying!

While the gym, cooking, music, yoga, running and talking with friends are all great activities and can be important parts of maintaining mental wellness, they arenât a replacement for therapy! Therapy offers the opportunity to focus on just you, to gain insight, to reflect on where youâve been and to give yourself compassion as you heal and grow.

There is a BILLION DOLLAR diet industry that is heavily invested in you hating your body.
It will be nearly impossible to avoid all of the ads, diet talk, and âcleanâ recipes for the next few weeks.
Instead of goals to lose weight or give up foods you love, perhaps you can practice self compassion and acknowledge all that youâve been through this year đ¤

Nothing needs to be âwrongâ with you to go to therapy. Sometimes people come for a specific reason or certain hurt, and much more often, people want a better understanding of themselves and how to cope with life.

Sometimes life is hard and it just sucks. We donât have to like it, but we also canât always change it. Itâs okay to lean into those feelings and acknowledge their presence.

Youâre used to being busy and getting s**t done. You conquer your to do list day in and day out. It feels GREAT to be on top of your game and not only do it all, but do it all WELL.
Except sometimes, life throws you a curve ball. For whatever reason, your heart is a bit heavier, tears are a bit closer to your eyes, your thoughts race faster, and itâs harder to get out of bed in the morning. Itâs not quite as easy to juggle everything at once.
