Cans for Climate

Cans for Climate started in the summer of 2021. Ellie had come up with the idea Cans for Climate. It is located in between the pickleball court and the entrance.

She would collect cans from others and returned them to save money for trees. She asked her friends to help her, and soon she earned enough to plant a tree. So far, Cans for Climate has planted a white oak tree in Wildlife Woods Park. You can recognize it by the plaque in front of the tree. Cans for Climate is trying to get more cans so they can plant another tree. Cans for Climate would like to thank their donators for helping them raise the money to plant their first tree.
