When does AI-generated output become human creation?
Generative AI is changing how art is produced—but where does generation end and genuine creative attribution begin?
The article “When Generation Becomes Creation: Distinguishing Human Creativity from AI Derivation” explores the concept of generative agency and examines how human aesthetic judgment shapes AI-assisted creative work.
The study highlights five key dimensions:
🔹 Aesthetic Intentionality
🔹 Consequential Control
🔹 Iterative Responsiveness
🔹 Selective Commitment
🔹 Integrative Responsibility
📖 Read the full article and explore the evolving relationship between AI, creativity, authorship, and artistic judgment.

Can bio-based fluids provide a sustainable alternative to diesel-based drilling fluids?
A recent study evaluates Soybean Oil Methyl Ester (SOME) and Melon Seed Oil Methyl Ester (MOME) as biodegradable, non-aqueous alternatives for drilling applications.
🔬 Key findings:
• MOME crude volumetric yield: 73.5%
• SOME electrical stability: 508.5 V
• MOME electrical stability: 485.5 V
• SOME HPHT fluid loss: 6.6 mL
• MOME HPHT fluid loss: 6.7 mL
• Diesel control: 7.5 mL
Both bio-synthetic formulations demonstrated shear-thinning thixotropic behavior, strong electrical stability and effective HPHT fluid-loss control.

How Can Environmental Enrichment Improve Animal Welfare?
A new research article in the International Journal of Zoology and Animal Biology examines how environmental enrichment affects native and exotic mammals in zoological institutions in Mexico.
The review of 8 studies highlights how physical, nutritional, cognitive, and social enrichment can encourage natural behaviors, reduce negative or stereotypic behaviors, and support animal welfare and ex situ conservation.
From jaguars and spider monkeys to giant pandas and elephants, individualized enrichment strategies can help create more stimulating environments for animals under human care.
📖 Explore the research and discover how enrichment can contribute to wildlife welfare and conservation.

Cosmopolitan Justice: Its Eclipse and Necessity
What does justice mean beyond national borders?
This conceptual paper explores the often-overlooked role of cosmopolitan justice in educational philosophy. It distinguishes cosmopolitan justice from social justice and examines territorial justice, justice-sensitive externalities, international law, global citizenship education, and Bildung.
The article highlights why education needs to engage more directly with cross-border injustices and the relationship between national and international spheres.

Why Genomic Surveillance Must Remain a Global Health Priority
Genomic surveillance has transformed infectious disease research by enabling researchers to detect emerging pathogens, track viral evolution, monitor transmission, and support public health responses.
This mini review highlights the role of next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics, and global data-sharing in surveillance of viruses including SARS-CoV-2, influenza, dengue, mpox, avian influenza, and RSV. It also discusses challenges such as unequal sequencing capacity, limited bioinformatics expertise, fragmented surveillance systems, and the need for sustained investment and international collaboration.
📖 Explore the research and discover how genomic surveillance can strengthen preparedness for future infectious disease threats.

How does the Sun influence the Moon’s motion—and what does this mean for the “Einstein Effect”?
A new research article in the Open Access Journal of Astronomy explores the relationship between optical observations of total solar eclipses and the Sun’s major gravitational perturbations of the Moon and Earth.
The study examines evection, variation, and annual inequality, highlighting a possible connection between these lunar-motion effects and measurements of the gravitational deflection of starlight near the Sun. The analysis also proposes an error-level correction for future total solar eclipse observations from 2027 to 2100.
Explore the research and discover how celestial mechanics and optical observations come together to investigate one of astronomy’s most fascinating effects.

Metamodernism and the Recovery of Metaphysics explores how metaphysical questions can be reconsidered after modern skepticism and postmodern critique. The article presents a fresh approach centered on realism without absoluteness, dynamism without nihilism, and interconnectedness without relativism.
Drawing on the perspectives of Nāgārjuna, Guō Xiàng, and Mullā Ṣadrā, the discussion reopens questions about reality, existence, knowledge, meaning, and human experience.
