IN THE COMMUNITY: We were delighted to be part of the first annual Child in the Wild event, a multicultural family celebration in nature that aims to raise awareness and encourage community participation in the creation of the future Southeast Greenway Park in Santa Rosa. The turnout was incredible! With participation from the Sonoma County Pomo Dancers, Quercus Quire, Redwood Empire Chinese Association Lion and Dragon Dancers, Wu Academy Martial Arts, Grita Marimba! Ensemble, Grupo Folklórico Quetzalén, and Danza Xantotl. And, Santa Rosa mayor Mark Stapp stopped by to say hello!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, connected with us, and helped make this community celebration such a success.

MENTAL HEALTH: Mental health challenges ripple into families, friendships, and workplaces, because when someone you love is struggling with their mental health, you carry it too.
Buckelew’s programs are designed with this entire social network in mind. We offer support to connect to services, su***de survivor groups, and substance use resources that help loved ones understand, cope, and heal.
Our work extends beyond crisis stabilization. True recovery means reclaiming the pieces that make life worth living: connection, purpose, creativity, dignity. That’s why we offer personal enrichment programs designed to restore the whole person: life skills, fitness, art, social connection and community belonging.
As comes to a close, we want to encourage you to take care of your mental health and if you can, donate to organizations that help those in need of mental healthcare. 🔗 buckelew.org/Act4Impact
