***THINKING OUT LOUD**
Whenever I'm out & about, I genuinely ask associates how their day is going. 9 out 10 times like clock-work, I always get the same responses: "can't wait to leave, hate this place, wish it was time to go"..As if someone held them captive and said 'you have to be here FOREVER'. It's interesting how we sometimes hold ourselves captive in several areas of our life. Makes me wonder have they ever asked themselves: "what is my ideal day?, what would life look like if I lived it on my terms?, what would i do differently?, what would make me most happy?"..change starts with the self-dialogue, then a plan, then WORK.
So maybe you truly feel stuck. Maybe you don't know how, but you're willing to do the work. This is where you have to reach out to others and network with those that are in position to help you get to your promise land. You don't have to have the answers, just link up with people who do.
I remember in 2010 I made the decision I would work for myself and live my life on my terms. Guess what? I worked my ass off, and I still work diligently. However, it fulfills my soul to be able to wake up and go downstairs to my office and earn a living. But it took having the self-dialogue, making a plan, and executing that plan.
If you're seeking change, I encourage you to truly seek change. And change takes action.
