Please join us in welcoming Alex (Al) Domeyko to the team as our Director of Major Gifts and Individual Giving!

Al comes to Okizu from the world of wildlife conservation and urban parks administration. He moved to California in 2024 with his family after having spent his entire life as an East Coaster, and he's absolutely loving the West Coast vibe! He enjoys hiking, coffee, and nerding out about Star Wars.

Al shared, "I am so honored and excited to be joining a mission that brings such comfort, joy, and connection to so many children and their families. I'm especially inspired by the incredible community of donors, volunteers, and supporters whose generosity makes Okizu’s life-changing programs possible, and look forward to helping grow that impact for even more families in the years ahead."

The Okizu Young Professionals Council has launched a virtual mock interview program for individuals ages 18-25 who are eligible for Teens-N-Twenties, offering them an opportunity to practice interviewing in a supportive environment.

This program includes a one-hour virtual meeting with at least two YPC members, who will ask you mock interview questions tailored to your goals and then provide feedback and answer your questions about interviews, resumes and more.
