G38 on scene with heavy fire showing from the second floor extending all the way up the Delta side, second alarm. Engine 32 told to lay hit the hydrant on the Delta side and hit it with their deck gun.

Ledyard and Gales Ferry with Mashantucket Engine 1 & Truck 1 dispatched to a reported bathroom fire with extension to the attic.
R1 on scene working fire, Preston Engine 11, Mohegan Tribal FAST and American Ambulance added.
Engine 13 to lay in. Ladder 25 to set up for the roof.

At 10:28 am on Friday, 5/29/26 the Danielson Fire Department with South Killingly, Atwood Hose, Attawaugan FAST, Moosup FAST and KB Ambulance with the QV Medic were dispatched to 263 Mechanic Street for a house fire.

Sad news out of Boston, Massachusetts tonight where a firefighter was killed in the line of duty while operating at a third alarm house fire in the Dorchester section.

President Donald Trump was the keynote speaker at the United States Coast Guard Academy's 145th Commencement Ceremony on Wednesday, 5/20/26.
Air Force One landed at Groton-New London Airport shortly before 11 a.m. Trump stepped off it a short time afterward and his motorcade headed to the academy.
The New London Fire Department has a standby assignment at the Coast Guard Academy staffing an engine, a truck company and two ambulances. The Waterford Ambulance Service is also providing coverage for the event.

At 1:35 pm on Wednesday, 5/20/26 the Norwich Police Department detained a female driver and male passenger who were in a File 1 (stolen motor vehicle) at the Shell Gas Station on West Town Street in Norwich. The Mercedes was stolen out of New York City.
The Norwich Police Department works hard to protect the Rose of New England and is looking for applicants for anyone thinking of becoming a cop.

At 11:52 am on Wednesday, 5/20/26 North Stonington Fire & Ambulance with Mashantucket Engine 1, Pawcatuck Engine 42, Ashaway Engine 414, Tanker 415, Hope Valley T-915, Old Mystic G-62 FAST with an L&M Medic were dispatched to 43 Boom Bridge Road for smoke coming from the basement.
Ladder 151 on scene with smoke showing, working basement fire.
