Today marks the end of Hispanic Heritage Month, although it truly never ends! Through the art of dance we are able to celebrate our heritage and rich culture everyday, so let us rejoice our wonderful roots!

In the fall, the migrating monarch butterflies begin to arrive from their long distance voyage and settle in Michoacán, México. This wonderful phenomenon has inspired some of our many projects in hopes to capture México’s everlasting essence and charisma. These wonderful butterflies serve as a reminder of our culture, representing the resilient Mexican migrants who endure the journey to a better life.

Feliz día nacional del huipil! El huipil es una prenda prehispanica usada por mujeres mayas y indigenas, hecha en cintura de telar con simbolos representativos de cosmovisión. Maravillosos trabajos artesanales, el huipil mantiene viva sus tradiciones y siempre llevan historias entrelazadas en ellas.

This years Halloween theme; The Mexican Revolution, was a success! Celebrating the 39th Annual Arturo Sanchez Sr. Halloween Parade with Norwalk and neighboring cities. We are very grateful for the opportunity to parade our Mexican roots with our loving community. Thank you to our dancers and folk parents who pushed through the entire parade! ¡Viva Mexico! 🇲🇽💚
