The Social program is looking for donations of soccer jerseys from any country or team to help make the experience even more fun and engaging. Whether it's a current jersey or one that's been sitting in your closet, we'd love to put it to good use!

For many of the individuals we serve, activities like these create opportunities for connection, community, and joy. Imagine cheering on your favorite team while wearing its colors. It makes the experience that much more special.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the lives sacrificed in service to our country.

At Open Doors, we are reminded that service takes many forms. Each day, we strive to carry forward that spirit by showing up for our community, offering support, dignity, and hope to those facing difficult times.

In observance of Memorial Day, Smilow Life Center will be closed on May 25th, but our shelter and meal services will be working normally.

We are incredibly grateful to the Women's League of Westport for their generous $10,000 grant in support of Open Doors.

Beyond this meaningful contribution, we were honored to be invited to speak at their meeting last week and share more about the work we do to support individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in our community.
