On the evening of January 22, a Dutch band called Tangarine performed a great version of our song "The Family Tree" on national television in the Netherlands as part of the Omroep MAX show. It was a beautiful and heartfelt acappella rendition by the Brinks brothers and their band and we immediately heard about it from friends and colleagues in the Netherlands. We just want to say publicly how surprised and happy we were to hear this version. Over the last 25 years we have been very grateful and proud to have “The Family Tree” resonate with so many people around the world. It is always particularly touching to see and hear it performed by other artists who clearly have a connection with the song, and in this case, knowing that they are brothers makes it even more special. So here is a big thank you from the Lennons to the Brinks, from Venice to Tangarine…from our Family Tree to yours, well done.
