finally dropped Kanye. While I’m glad as a part of the Jewish community, it sends the wrong message when multiple anti-black comments by Kanye have been tolerated by this company for quite sometime. I’m disturbed that one voice being heard/tanking their stocks is what seemingly happened.

I also know that to do better we all need to be better and more educated. I know personally I have a long way to go. Please comment below with other organizations that tolerate hate, discrimination, body shaming, damage of any kind, etc. below. I would like to learn and do better to back up my beliefs with more action. I want to do more then never buying adidas again. I hope others can explore similarly.

Finally, yes I know he suffers from mental health struggles. Still doesn’t make it okay. Nor does it negate the massive influence he has. I hope he stabilizes and does the right

Can “Goldilocksing” be a verb? I’ve used it as such these last few weeks… We get so caught up in these waiting games trying to find those “just right” (fill in the blank) that we end up staying stuck. What have you caught yourself “Goldilocksing” lately?

As we heal we are continually gaining self awareness. I believe relapses happen to teach us more about our shadows and traumas. Often this knowledge is overwhelming and we fall back into old coping mechanisms. Give yourself grace. This is insanely hard work!

I know this is a paraphrase of a powerful Brene Brown quote. It’s powerful and scary to recognize the way being out is through. There is a light at the end of the tunnel as long as you have the support and skills to walk through it.

What if enough doesn’t exist and we’re all just doing the best we can? What gets in the way of giving grace?

Having agency and a choice feels powerful. I believe it is important to empower others to choose for themselves what they’re open to sharing and what they’re not. This is why I always preference this in every assessment I do. Just because I ask, does not mean you have to answer. Trauma is a basic violation of boundaries. Respecting boundaries is an important piece for recovery.
