Who is Dr. Marcine Adams?

Dr. Marcine Adams, Ph.D founded How About Learning, LLC over a decade ago when she saw the need for tutoring to be conducted by professional & licensed teachers. In an effort to better serve her students & their families, she decided to pursue her Ph.D in Curriculum Studies at the University of Illinois At Chicago. Marcine has her Doctorate in Philosophy, with her research centered on assessment and grounded in Vygotsky’s theories about learning. Before pursuing her doctorate, Marcine graduated from DePaul University with a degree in Elementary Education and has her Master's in MESA (Measurement, Evaluation, and Statistical Analysis). She has enjoyed expanding How About Learning's storefront, finding the latest trending candy & impactful learning games, & seeing the tutoring team expand into an incredible team of teachers. Marcine has the special talent of helping students reach their goals in all school subjects & on standardized tests like the ACT & SAT.
