Heritage radio station WHMP became Hampshire County's first and only full-time radio station featuring music news and sports when it went on the air for the first time at 1 PM on Sunday, December 3rd, 1950. Today, WHMP continues that heritage by informing and entertaining residents of the Upper Pioneer Valley with news, information, and the arts.
