Update on refunds for artists and vendors:
We apologize for the delay in refunding artist and vendor registration fees. Artists and Vendors, be on the lookout for a form in the mail. Once you've filled out this form, you should be able to receive your refund. The forms are on their way through snail mail, so they may be a bit slow. Uncashed checks are also being mailed back. You should receive an email from us soon with details. Thank you for your patience in these unprecedented times.

Are you staying home, practicing social distancing, and feeling sad you can't be at Conbust this weekend? Good news! You can still explore art, writing, podcasts, webcomics, and more from all of the awesome artists, guests, panelists, and demonstrators we originally scheduled! Links to many of their websites can be found in this document: https://tinyurl.com/rut87h8
On a more serious note, convention cancellations can mean significant income loss for artists, vendors, guests, and panelists. If you are able to, please consider financially supporting those who were unable to attend Conbust this year, and checking out their work online.
We are beyond devastated to inform everyone that the dance is cancelled. Smith has asked students to leave campus, and continue classwork remotely for the rest of the semester. Thank you for your support and patience as we deal with logistics of the cancellation amid this news.
IMPORTANT UPDATE ON CONBUST 2020.
We are deeply saddened to inform you that as of last night, Smith College has canceled every event expecting more than 50 people. This means that ConBust 2020 is canceled. Although we are reeling from this decision and our disappointment in the cancellation of the event, we have met with the head of organizations at Smith College, Tamra Bates, to discuss the next steps.
Please note that although the Con has been cancelled, THE DANCE WILL STILL CONTINUE, with a cap of 50 people. It will be Saturday, March 28th from 9-12.
Panelists, guests, artists, and vendors should expect emails with more details about the logistical implications and consequences of this cancellation.
We apologize for the cancellation and late notice. Please know that we are just as frustrated and upset as you are, and that will do our best to make things right with the ways we're given.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Hello everyone,
Smith College is asking us to share COVID-19 prep with attendees. Just so it is clear, WE ARE STILL PLANNING ON HAVING CONBUST. We will keep you updated if that should change, but we are planning on going full steam ahead.
That being said:
Individuals considering attending events on Smith’s campus should stay home if they have a fever, cough or shortness of breath. Should symptoms appear while they are already on campus, visitors are asked to self-isolate and contact their primary health-care provider.
In addition, if you have traveled to CDC alert-level 3 countries (such as Italy) less than 2 weeks before ConBust, you are not permitted on Smith’s campus until you have self-isolated and remained symptom-free for a minimum of 14 days.
Again, we're very excited for ConBust, and we do not anticipate this being a problem. We're simply conveying the information for the worst-case scenario.
We're happy to answer any comments or concerns. Sincerely,
The ConChairs
