Our Story
Capoeira Gunga do Vale is dedicated to the Afro-Brazilian art of Capoeira. Capoeira is a martial art that combines dance-like movements and music with strikes, feints, dodges, and acrobatics. We focus on training and instruction in a way that’s accessible to all ages and all levels of ability.
We are led by instructor Formado Bicicleta under the guidance and instruction of our master teacher Mestre Calango who runs Capoeira Rosa Rubra in the greater Boston area.
