The Rhode Island Renaissance Faire

We at the Rhode Island Renaissance Faire have an announcement to make. After much discussion and thought, we have decided to postpone our next Faire until 2022. The main reason for this, and the watchword of this post, is certainty:
-We want to be certain that everything will be safe and healthy.
-We want to be certain we'll be able to put on the very best faire we can.
-We want to be certain of having a wonderful location available for our patrons.
Fortunately, there are several things that are already certain.

We are certainly coming back!

There will certainly be lots of vendors with wonderful crafts and foods to purchase.
There will certainly be many amazing acts for your entertainment.
We will certainly be bigger and better than before!
We certainly miss you all!
And we certainly can't wait to see everyone again--and make new friends--in 2022!

Greetings Gentlefolk,

It is with heavy hearts that we make this announcement: the Rhode Island Renaissance Faire will not be taking place in 2020. Our first duty is the safety of our patrons, performers, and vendors, and therefore had to make the decision to cancel our faire for this year due to the health concerns of Covid-19.

That having been said, there are still wonderful times in the future! We had an enchanting time in 2019, and we hope every single one of you did as well! We are committed to running the Rhode Island Renaissance Faire again in 2021. We plan on making changes and expansions to make it an even better year. Please keep following this page for some exciting changes for faire season of 2021. We will begin posting periodic updates once the current health crisis has been resolved and everyone’s safety is assured.

Never forget that joyful times are ahead for all of us. And we commit, in our own small way, to being a source of them.

As the sun sets on our final day and the packing to head home begins, we want to thank The Town of Scituate and all the wonderful people that joined us!! We had a great time and look forward to seeing you all again next year!!
