Sneak attack show alert, we’ve been added to the bill tonight opening for Cardioid at Mississippi Studios! This is the first promo shot we ever took, which feels really right because we’re doing the set as a duo tonight; old school Lenore. We’re singing a song with Cardioid too, three-part harmonies! Also on the bill is Robin Bacior, it’ll be a really gorgeous evening. There are still tix available (link below), but we’d also like to give away a pair to celebrate our first show together since January 2020. Drop a comment if you’re interested and we’ll choose a random winner later this afternoon. Proof of vaccination or negative covid test from within the last 48hrs required for entry. 💛

Hello, you homebound heroes. Joy here with some news. I've been wearing this robe + Lenore. band shirt for... quite a while now. But that's not the news. In fact, if you know me, this isn't news AT ALL.
Don't worry, there is real news!
This Wednesday at 7:00PM I will be singing my little quarantined heart out to you & yours. PORTLAND MUSIC STREAM is making it happen & everyone gets a front row seat!
This is an amazing program that The Alberta Rose Theatre put together when it became clear that musicians would need help & the world would need music. I am so proud to be included in it.
PORTLAND MUSIC STREAM is also donating money to the The Jeremy Wilson Foundation to further help artists, musicians, & other independent contractors. The JWF is a musicians’ health care non-profit that supports the musicians of Portland with vital services.
Hopefully you got to watch Rebecca do this a few weeks ago. Rebecca, myself and the other artists who have traded in robes for street clothes (if only for a night!) are so happy we still get to make music for you.
Here is the link to the series. Keep an eye out for an event page with a photo of me wearing something equally cozy. WE ARE ALL HANDLING THIS HOWEVER WE CAN, OK?
I love you.

Hello, sweet friends! We hope you're doing as best as can be during these strange times. Whatever you're doing is GREAT. Also great, The Alberta Rose Theatre has started a streaming series to raise funds for all of the participating artists, as well as the theatre itself and a local music relief fund through The Jeremy Wilson Foundation. Joy and I were going to participate as a social-distancing-duo live from the empty theatre, but with more sweeping shelter in place orders, we've had to regroup. (Figuratively and literally?)
I, Reba, will be doing a solo set from home on Thursday, 4/2, and Joy's set is getting scheduled. We'll be updating details over the weekend and early next week, but in the meantime here's a link to the event page for the whole series. They're offering a subscription to view the entire series, or you can just buy tickets to individual shows. More soon!

From the desk of Rebecca Marie Miller...
I’m playing a solo set at Mississippi Studios this Tuesday the 4th opening up for the dear Josiah Johnson. I’m also gonna sing harmonies for him on this run of shows that we’re kicking off in Portland. It’s been years since I’ve played a solo set in Portland and I’m working up some new songs to share. I’m on first at 8pm. May the algorithm gods accept this offering of my definitely unfiltered face and shove it into your feed. 🖤

Thank you Newport Folk Festival!
The East Coast Heat Wave™️ reminded me of the magical day we tricked the wonderful people at Banana Stand Media into filming us in the hottest parking garage in Portland.
Here’s the thing; art is hard and uncomfortable and (sometimes) smells weird. But if you work hard and trust your guts and are working with people who do the same you can make magic.
Thank you, Banana Stand Media. We love you.
