Our city and King Plastic at work for YOU!

Photos from CBRA's post 05/14/2026

King Plastics is setting a new standard for what community leadership and workforce support should look like.

At yesterday’s groundbreaking, Jeff King shared that this partnership with the YMCA to bring an early learning center to the King’s Plastics property was created to support his employees - so working parents no longer have to live with the daily fear and stress of finding reliable childcare while trying to provide for their families.

That is visionary leadership.

This is the kind of investment that strengthens not only a company, but an entire community. By helping stabilize and expand the YMCA’s presence in North Port again, King’s Plastics is helping build a stronger foundation for the future growth of our city, our workforce, and our families.

A special thank you and shout-out to Jeff King for leading by example and showing what the future of employment and community partnership can look like. North Port needs more of this kind of thinking, compassion, and commitment to working families. 👏
