You know it is a busy working day when your set up looks like this
I want to make you aware of a new scam targeting Intuit users. Scammers are placing fake calls claiming to be from Intuit Security. They tell you that your account was accessed from another location and ask you to confirm whether it was you. When you say no, they claim your phone number and password were changed.
They then offer to “correct” your phone number back to the original one. After that, they ask you to provide the six‑digit verification code that was sent to your phone, saying they need it to authorize the update.
Do not provide this code.
Giving that code grants them access to your account.
Intuit will never ask for your verification code. They do not need it for any reason. The text message containing the code even states that Intuit will never call or text asking for it.
If you are ever unsure whether a call is legitimate, log in to your Intuit account directly to verify your information. You can also hang up and call Intuit/QuickBooks support yourself.
Never share your verification code with anyone.
