Creative Contracting

Been a busy 2 weeks all done with the structural upgrades underneath . A lot of demo completed . Framing package has been delivered so now we can begin the process of raising the floor to match hgt of existing floor in house then start stick building all our exterior walls upstairs.
Making great progress and looking forward to the next phase of construction..

This week featured beams , beams and more beams with some footer work sprinkled in for good measure.

Life is good ….

Good first week . Performed a lot of exploration determining our bearing points and what loads each one carrying in order to install our bracing and shoring for support of the structure above .
Once we completed that we took on the task of install our first of 4 support beams.

Morning and welcome to our Murrells Inlet project . This project entails structural upgrades then closing in of second floor porch and existing sunroom thus creating more climate controlled living space for our home owners including a residential elevator.
I have done alot of structural work in my 40 years in this trade but this one here is one of the most structurally detailed jobs I have worked on in quite some time regarding connections and carrying of existing loads .
We are excited to showcase this project as it evolves and share with you the process of properly constructing a heavy timber structural engineered job .

Moving right along on our Tilghman shores project . Then started an 8’ round stone fire pit out in Loris . Pretty interesting and enjoying laying some stone out of the state ofTennessee . Been a hot minute since I last did some old school stone work . Mother Nature not cooperating at the moment but next week looks to be nice so should make some good headway on that project .

Well been a minute or two . But here goes , finished up our bathroom project in Retreat at Barefoot , finishing touches on the sunroom addition in River Hills are just about done , waiting on one last piece of the puzzle and that is the custom made screen doors that will complete and finish this project . Last just some misc photos of a condo renovation we began last week in the Tilghman Shores complex located in Cherry Grove . This is going to take some time to complete so check back often for our progress and some other little projects we have coming up that will be sure to impress …

Hey y’all Happy Friday ! Making good progress on River Hills project . Have all the brick layed and washed down , installed our soffits metal trim . Then moved to the inside and completed our tongue and groove plank ceiling. Looking to get the heaters installed mid to late next week then for our scope of work that will be a wrap . Moving inside to existing Carolina room to install same type of ceiling then deeper into the house to give a much needed make over to the existing pantry .
