My mom and her doggo, Millie, are starting a new chapter in life this week. She's been needing help since my father passed away and she was diagnosed with dementia, and it's become more than I can do alone. We decided that an assisted living community would be best for her. It's a big change since she's usually so independent and introverted. I hope she gets to love the place because I want the best for her.
