The Locket Photography

This is my favorite time of year to shoot family photos. The weather is perfect and the light is in the sweet spot between summer and fall! I shot Cristie Timmes and Richard’s wedding in Iowa City about 10 years ago. They live out of state now and reached out about getting pics taken on some family property while they were back visiting!

My seniors have absolutely killed it this year! Their outfits, hair, guidance on locations, easy-going modeling - all my favorites! Grace came to me from Davenport and these are just the tiniest start of some teasers! The ultimate thank you goes to recommendations from friends and previous clients. Aleeyah was just stunning throughout her sessions, but I knew this image was magical when we were shooting it! How fun that we could find and create beauty in a dirty farm shed!!!

Mini sessions are the best! I love how focused and efficient they are yet still capture the personalities within a family! This session was right as the sun was dropping and we had fun with the pretty colors of an Iowa corn field.
