Kind of on vaycay for now Hello, my name is Rod Queen. I've been involved with clay since 1975.
All of my work at present is true high- fired porcelain (approx. 2390 F.) Fired in a natural-gas forced-air burner reduction kiln. Porcelain is truly a great clay. Pieces meant to be thin are very translucent. I specialize in copper reds and microcrystalline mattes. All work meant for food use have non-toxic glazes, are dishwasher, microwave and oven safe, and meant for lifetimes of use with care.

Life. This seems to be the place. full disclosure -I was never meant to be alone. my latest foray* -yes that is what is required. Hopefully with equal honesty. But not so much as it turned out.
Anyhow, the real point is -I was described as a brainiac, but as an insult ..ok, close enough.

As it turns out....another Futurescape I did. This one a photo from June 2014. Just south of Truth or Consequences, but north of the hot pepper capitol of Hatch, NM.
