A historic building in Andover is being reimagined for creativity and collaboration! Beginning this fall, 305 North Main Street will become the new home of Merrimack’s Department of Creative Arts, Design and Architecture.

The renovated space will feature a woodshop on the main floor, as well as 2D and 3D art studios, computer labs and even a cafe.

Gabriel Qureshi ’29 is following in the footsteps of his older sister, Yasmine Qureshi ’26. Both civil engineering majors and student-athletes, they spent the past year navigating life at Merrimack together.

Coming to the same college strengthened their bond, but as Yasmine's time at MC comes to an end, she knows her brother is in good hands at their home away from home.

Did you know your sports fandom might be impacting your health? As the FIFA World Cup kicks off, Dr. Aaron Mansfield, assistant professor of sport management, is exploring how fandom shapes people’s lives — for better or worse.

While his research links sports fandom to a range of poor health outcomes, it also suggests that fandom is one of the most powerful forces in human behavior. Few things inspire as much emotion and loyalty as the teams we love.

After seeing her daughter, Kayleigh Manupelli ‘25, M’26 earn her bachelor's degree in criminology and criminal justice, Kate Manupelli '92, M’26 felt inspired to join her in Merrimack's graduate program. Last month, the mother-daughter duo crossed the stage together at Commencement.

Kate became a municipal attorney after earning her bachelor's degree in 1996. Kayleigh hopes to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a lawyer herself. While she’s especially interested in criminal law and criminal defense, she plans to explore other areas while attending law school.

Congratulations, Kate and Kayleigh!
