In America, we celebrate our independence on the 4th of every July. For France, they celebrate it today, on the 14th of every July. Named Bastille Day, it commemorates the start of the French Revolution and the unity of the French people at Fête de la Fédération exactly 226 years ago.

Today, the celebrations turned heartbreak. A terrorist attack struck the people of Nice, France earlier today, resulting in the death of at least 70 people, and injured many more. The people of France have endured tremendously lately from attacks such as these. It is beyond unfortunate that heartless individuals continue to target such a respectable country. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Nice and France. 🇫🇷
